Callyanne graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Education. Prior to establishing her vision for Chambers, Callyanne taught four years at Regents School of Austin, where she also coached Logic cross country. Before her time at Regents, Callyanne spent two years teaching in charter schools in Austin where she established provable results of her ability to teach and motivate children to learn material. But despite these good test results, Callyanne realized that she wanted to be a part of an educational philosophy that was more than simply a process to memorize information.
Callyanne believes children’s education must encompass the Whole Person. We want our children to learn basic math, reading and writing skills, but we want so much more for them. We must create a learning environment and use methods of study that lead to the development of hearts and minds knowing the 'true, good, and beautiful things', and wanting them. Callyanne is passionate about classical education and the tool that it is to recognize the thoughtfulness, order, and Lordship of God.
Callyanne loves every child, finding a way to connect deeply with each one. No student can be overlooked or given less care than another. This will be a fundamental commitment by Chambers.
