At Chambers we believe that all that we do and learn, apart from God, is nothing. Knowledge is empty, strength is powerless, understanding is folly separate from Him. At Chambers, we know God is the one who imparts wisdom and understanding to us, and we are desperate for it. God is, and must be, Lord over all—over all subjects, persons, and thoughts. All learning and teaching are subject to the authority of scripture. Christ Jesus has been given to us and, as a result, we are enriched in Him in all speech and all knowledge. Our intention and hope is that, in all that we study, we learn more about God.
Colossians 2:8 | 1 Corinthians 1:5 | Colossians 1:16-17
At Chambers, the ‘one thing’ we desire is to dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of our life, to gaze upon His beauty, and to inquire in His temple. All that we do comes from the time we have spent with our Lord in our own ‘chambers’. We are a school desperate for God’s instruction and wisdom to be imparted to us and to be obedient to what He says.
Psalm 27:4
At Chambers, we believe that all people are created in the image of God, and thus, we strive to be like Him. In all that we do, we desire to do to the glory of God. At Chambers, we hold our students, faculty, and parents to this standard. As we can do nothing apart from Him, we can do all things with Him. We refuse to set low bars or accept mediocracy, understanding that excellence is a reflection of our Creator.
Genesis 1:27 | 1 Corinthians 10:31 | John 15:5 | Philippians 4:13
At Chambers, we believe that the role of ‘training up a child in the way they should go’ falls primarily on the parents of each individual student—firstly and foremost. Not the church, not the school, and not the state. We merely partner with parents as they fulfill their God-given responsibility in leading, discipling, and teaching their children. As a community, when necessary and welcomed, we partner alongside parents in the great honor of teaching and shepherding students' hearts and minds.
Proverbs 22:6
At Chambers, as students' affections are prayerfully guided through what we teach and the ways we shepherd, our eyes are not on ourselves. As we are commanded to love our God with all of our mind, heart, and soul, we are also commanded to love our neighbor as ourselves. At Chambers, we are always looking for ways to serve those around us, partake in lives unlike our own, and be people marked by deep love.
